Ferro Silicon Calcium
Ferro Silicon calcium alloy is a composite alloy composed of silicon, calcium and iron. It is commonly used as deoxidizer and desulfurizer in steel smelting.
Calcium and silicon have a strong affinity with oxygen. Especially calcium, not only has a strong affinity with oxygen, but also with sulfur, nitrogen has a strong affinity. So the calcium silicon alloy is an ideal compound deoxidizer and desulfurizer. It is applied to the production of high-quality steel, special steel and special alloy, such as calcium silicon alloy can be used as deoxidizer in the production of rail steel, low carbon steel, stainless steel and other steel and nickel-based alloys, titanium-based alloys and other special alloys . Calcium silicon alloy is also suitable for converter steel-making workshop as the warming agent, and cast iron’s inoculant and additives in the nodular cast iron production.
